The first World Artificial Intelligence Conference was held in Shanghai from 17 to 19 September 2018. Embodying its theme of “A New Era Empowered by AI”, the forum showcased different aspects and applications of artificial intelligence, and discussed the latest developments and trends in the field.

Yitu Technology, which is primarily engaged in innovative research on AI, hosted their forum (“A Vision for the AI Future –Where Wisdom and Expertise Meet”) at this conference and invited heavyweights in the field of AI to speak on a number of exciting topics. Idea Ink was tasked to create a live graphic recording of these talks, which culminated in a hand-drawn sketch wall, the creation of which was livestreamed into the main conference hall.
